Wylde Willow Garden
Wylde Willow Garden
Welcome to Wylde Willow Garden & Rawling Park: A tranquil oasis in Ōtepoti Dunedin.
Wylde Willow Garden beautifully showcases a labour of love. Developed over three decades by Fran Rawling, a green-thumbed visionary, this lush haven shows the artistry of nature. From roses to rhodedendrons, perennials to pungas and more, there is something for everyone, in every season, at Wylde Willow Garden.
The garden has unfolded organically, expanding outward from the house to embrace the gently flowing creek, creating a symphony of colours and textures to captivate the senses. Wylde Willow Garden began with the creation of the Garden Room – a peaceful sanctuary with a variety of flowers and vibrant colours.
The orchard was one of the first elements to take root, with many fruit trees covered in climbing roses, and daffodils as far as the eye can see in early Spring. At Wylde Willow Garden, every flower, plant and tree tell a story. It’s a place where nature and nurture come together to create a haven of tranquility and beauty.
We invite you to wander, wonder, and be transported into a world where time slows down. A world where the beauty of nature takes centre stage.
